Bill has 35 years of industry experience, including ten as a senior technology leader for a mid-sized electronics company in the HVAC market. He began his career as an electronics design engineer. However, he quickly became a confused, naïve young manager after his first promotion barely four years into the job. With a couple of lucky breaks and some hard work, eventually Bill was promoted to a senior technology leadership position in 2012.
Bill learned to become a leader and not just a manager in this role. Today, as a leader of eight geographically disparate technology teams, Bill is passionate about the Three C’s of leadership: Coaching, Cheerleading, and Communicating. Always a lifelong learner, Bill pursued a Doctor of Business Administration degree after becoming an empty nester in 2018 and graduated in 2022. Now a practitioner-scholar, Bill’s academic research interests include leadership, organizational culture, and organizational politics. As a practitioner, Bill enjoys helping teams on their transformation journey to become high performing organizations.

Upon graduating from Illinois State, Jaime spend four years in State Farm Insurance’s Stock Department supporting its $100 million+ stock portfolio while passing the CPA Exam, obtaining her CFA Designation and her MBA from the University of Chicago. After graduating, she moved to Morningstar,

After graduating, she moved to Morningstar, Inc, working her way up to Senior Equity Analyst in the banking industry, tackling the analysis of the nation’s largest banks during the 2008 crisis. After 10+ years in the industry, Jaime took a short pause to take care of her 4 children. Quickly bored, she began teaching part-time and then full-time at Illinois Wesleyan University, leading her to pursue her Doctorate of Business Administration.
Jaime continues to be active in the investment community through work on micro to mid-cap funds and the CFA Institute of St. Louis. An active practitioner-scholar, and now Assistant Dean of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Maryville University, Jaime’s research interest are wide ranging, including better methods of teaching finance, political skill and organizational politics, and the impact of share repurchases on the market and companies.

He found his passion in learning and development to assist employees in building new skills and developing people for their next move. Casey has served in the US Air Force for 12 years and separated as an E6 (Technical Sergeant). After separating, he held roles in various industries, including defense, mining, food ingredients manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, and healthcare.
Today, Casey is the Senior Human Resources Manager of Learning and Development at Peabody Energy, where he can continue his pursuit of creating and refining employee development programs. Always a lifelong learner, Casey pursued a Doctor of Business Administration degree in 2018 and graduated in 2022 with a focus on Human Resources Management. As a practitioner-scholar, Casey’s research interests include human resources, leadership, learning and development, organizational culture and design, and veteran studies.
